그래서 요즘은 넘쳐 나는 해외 여행의 경험을 소개하는 책자들도 많지 않았고, 그 중 대부분은 일본에서 출판된 책을 번역한 정도가 대부분이었다. 그 시절 여행 안내소는 마치 배낭여행자라면 반드시 들려야 하는 필수 코스 중 하나처럼 여겨지기도 했다.
이제는 인터넷과 모바일 기기로 언제 어디서나 필요한 여행 정보를 얻는 것이 어렵지 않게 되었지만... 요즘도 Tourist Information이 보이면, 일부러 찾아가 둘러 보고는 한다.
아래는 스위스의 '루체른(Lucerne)'과 말레이시아의 '타나라타(Tanah Rata)'의 여행 안내소를 방문했다고 가정을 하고 만든 대화 예문들이다. 대화 예문에 나오는 관광 명소는 실제로 있는 곳들이다.
